Awesome Alder Fruit Bowl #26E

Unique foot turned, hand gouged and spokeshaved Alder fruit bowl created from freshly felled green wood log (plantation maintenence). All of my bowls are initially shaped with a side axe before mounting on the spring pole foot operated lathe - I left some of this prep work intact on this one as well as the hand forged hook tool traces on the interior for a wonderful "spun" texture!Bayberry and distressed Linen organic milk paint, sealed with walnut oil and beeswax.  Fruit or dry goods only.
